New Slang is currently an online music publication that documents the day-to-day activity of Lubbock and Panhandle musicians, bands, songwriters, and artists. New Slang interviews those individuals who come through grace the Panhandle with their presence by way of music. New Slang focuses primarily on music within the Texas music, Americana, country, folk, and singer-songwriter communities.
