Today is the final preliminary round in The Blue Light Fall Singer-Songwriter Competition. So far, we’ve heard a total of 48 songs from some 24 artists. From those 24, eight have moved on to the Finals on Monday, Oct 27.

Some combination of four from below will join Week I Finalists Jim Dixon, Cleto Cordero, Hayden Huse, and Kody West and Week II Finalists Lou Lewis, Eddie Glenn, Jacob Furr, and Mitchell Rambo.

The 12 tonight are, in alphabetical order: Blake Fair, Josh Jackson, Jim Kendall, Dakota Keyser, Corey Killough, Randall King, Josh Lovett, Dave Martinez, Curtis Peoples, Elliott Powell, Marshall Vines, and Jon Young. Performance order will be determined at random prior to the starting.

Like the last two weeks, we’ve had introduction interviews with each of them.

Keep tabs on who advances and who’s performing each week by checking back here at New Slang. All things related to the Blue Light Fall Singer-Songwriter Competition can be found in the sub category BLFSSC here.
