In the late hours of Friday night, Lubbock musicians, bassist Michael Moad (Front Porch Family Band, etc) and drummer Matt Newsom (No Dry County, etc) had some of their instruments and gear stolen. It was stolen from Moad’s vehicle at his residence.

At the current time, there is a $2200 reward for the stolen gear returned.

Here’s a run down of the missing instruments/gear:

24″ cymbal vault
Large hardware case
22X18 bass drum
12X10 Tom
16×16 tom
14X5.5 snare

Pearl masters tom, 12×10
Black sparkle fade Black hardware

Meinl Byzance medium thin crash 18″

3 shure sm58 mics
1 shure sm57
1 shure beta 52a
3 shure pg56

Behringer 4 channel mixer
Yamaha clickstation

Pearl straight cymbal stand

A guitar hard case with personal valuables

And an American made Fender Precision Bass

As you can assume, a hefty amount of time, effort, and money was tied into that gear. For more information, contact Michael Moad or Matt Newsom here and here, or the Lubbock City Police Department.
