This September, five more influential individuals are being inducted into the West Texas Walk of Fame: Singer-songwriters Jay Boy Adams and Andy Wilkinson, radio personalities Lew Dee and Diane Dee, and actor-playwright Jaston Williams.
The induction ceremony will be on September 19 at 7pm in the Moe Turner Banquet Hall in the Lubbock Civic Center. Admission is free.
The five will join the likes of other significant West Texas artists like Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Terry Allen, Jesse “Guitar” Taylor, Tommy X Hancock, Lloyd Maines, Paul Milosevich, Sonny Curtis, Joe Ely and Mac Davis to name just a few.
