Welcome to our newest feature, Two Shows, One Night. It’s an open discussion comparing two shows that just ended up happening on the same night. It’s poll based. It’s reader and viewer based. We want to know which you’re going to and why.

Our inaugural TSON is debating Saturday, May 3, 2014. They’re both four-band day festivals (Subject for another day: Are we throwing the word “Festival” around too freely these days?) in Lubbock, Texas.

In one corner, it’s Smokey’s True to Texas Music Festival at Cactus Courtyard featuring Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights, Wheeler Brothers, No Dry County, and Randall King Band. Tickets: $15 presale, $20 at door.

In the other, it’s Spring Fest at Lonestar Amphitheater featuring Josh Abbott Band, Pat Green, Dix Hat Band, and Hunter Hutchinson. Tickets: $25.

Now, this isn’t here to start some kind of flame war between the aforementioned bands. But, which are going to. Tell us why in the comments.
