Jack White will be playing a show in Lubbock on Friday, May 30 at Wild West. According to KFMX, tickets will begin being sold at 10 a.m. on Front Gate Tickets this Friday (April 11).

The former White Stripes frontman recently announced his second solo record Lazaretto coming out June 14. White’s also always been a giant fan of the one and only Lubbock son, Buddy Holly. Watch/Listen to White cover Holly’s “Not Fade Away” below.

UPDATE: According to Front Gate Tickets, tickets will not be going up for sale on April 11 as previously reported, but on Saturday, April 12. Still, I’d check on Friday just in case. For any future details, check here.

UDATE II: According to AJ Editor William Kerns, tickets will be $40 not including any service charges. Tickets will be available through Ralph’s Records in addition to Front Gate Tickets. Kelley Stoltz will be opening the show.

Watch/Listen to “High Stepper,” the first track from Lazaretto below.
