A few months ago, we, New Slang, and the guys at Lubbock’s Amusement Park Studios hooked up and decided to go in on their already well known music video sessions called The Wiretap Sessions, an intimate live music performance in their studio. This time around, we grabbed the Dallas-based blues-rock duo Rise & Shine. R&S, made up of Jordan Cain and Brandon Pinckard (also of Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights), stopped by and performed a few songs as well as a short interview.

Their bluesy garage rock take on the legendary traditional “Ain’t No Grave” is the first song from the session.

In addition, you can see Cain and Pinckard perform with Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights this Saturday at The Blue Light.
