Lubbock surf-punk staples The Dry Heeves have quietly been working on new material to follow up last year’s Different Strokes For Different Folks and January’s How Long Have you Been Chasing the Dragon? In the last week, they’ve uploaded four tracks which seemingly will be featured on their forthcoming album or EP on two Souncloud accounts. “90s Prom Song,” a rerecorded (and reworked) version of “Samhain,” (which was featured on last year’s Different Strokes), and “Curly Headed Mermaid” were uploaded three days ago while “Living Dead” was about a week ago. We’ve conveniently thrown them all together in one spot to hear them in succession.
