Texas singer-songwriter troubadour extraordinaire Hayes Carll played The Blue Light a few Fridays back and it’s safe to say, he pretty much blew us all away. Carll and his band played about 23 songs over a two-plus hour set–everything from “KMAG YOYO” and “Drunken Poet’s Dream” to an impromptu “Another For You” with a girl picked from the crowd and lesser-known songs such as Tom Waits cover “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up” and “Rivertown (co-written with Guy Clark).”

Here’s a few photographs we captured during the night.
